EasyVision provides a new level of price performance for Automated Optical Inspection with full solder checking capability. With an improved 2MPixel camera through a telecentric lens this unit works easily down to 0402 size components.

With library compatibility between UltraVision and EasyVision it makes it as easy to install a multi-station AOI configuration as a single workstation. With the optional (retrofittable) Laser system it makes it easy to extend your AOI capability over time, you can now match you investment with your needs as your requirements grow.

Ultravision Software Update

In-Line with our constant improvement plan we are now on course to deliver the latest revision of software for UltraVision - rev 2.30 - this summer. Key features of this release will be:

• Gerber File handling and "area of interest" programming
• Critical Component Image storage
• Improved OCV algorithm's
• Automatic area of interest for package types
• Improved data import
• Improved shadowed area solder inspection

All users of Ultravision on a software support contract are eligible for this release. If you do not have a contract currently please contact us and we can quote the support package for you to keep you future proofed.

Programming Services

For anyone needing to get a volume of boards programmed, especially new users of AOI, DCB can offer a programming service for their machines. In addition to the full training package included with the systems this enables to users to accelerate their ramp up of AOI.

Time is precious in any organisation, so this service can free up time for many companies. Especially for OEM'S with a fixed product line this often means that all boards can be pre-programmed prior to delivery of a new unit, or very rapidly after delivery. This builds the library initially to make programming of new boards, or amendments/revisions significantly easier in the future.

Working with your AOI team to ensure your quality standards are met is an essential part of this service. You can rely on DCB to give you quick turnaround to get running the new boards through as quickly as possible.
