The Magazine Feed version of UltraVision is available for users who need this capacity boosting facility.
Maintaining all the inspection features of the desktop unit with high resolution, laser co-planarity, conformal coating inspection etc the magazine feed option allows up to 50 boards to be inspected in one sequential run.
Capacity limits are typically dictated by the feeder capability, board size and other factors external to UltraVision. With a board inspection area of 470 x 450mm and height clearances of 40mm above and 70mm below the board UltraVision will handle over 99% of boards handled by magazine feeders today.
With built in barcode reading and extensive data management tools the pass/fail data for any batch of boards is easily accessible for re-work and investigation at an off-line station.
For organisations that use magazine handling already this is a unique solution to fit into their processes For anyone not already using this they should consider either the desktop version or the in-line version.
